2019 LOCAL Elections 

Shawnee County did not conduct a primary election in 2019 as there were not more than three times the number of candidates filed for any office as required by state law. The names of all filed candidates will appear on the general election ballot on November 5, 2019.

2019 Election Calendar

Sept. 21 Federal Service Ballots to be Mailed
Oct. 16 Advance Voting ballots can begin being mailed
Oct. 21 Advance Voting in the Election Office begins 8am to 6pm
Oct. 29 Last day to mail ballots from the Election Office
Nov. 1 Last day of extended office hours: 8am to 6pm
Nov. 4 NOON deadline for advance voting in the Election Office
Nov. 5 GENERAL ELECTION DAY 7am to 7pm
Nov. 14 County Board of Canvassers meets at 9 a.m. in Election Office
